This tutorial was written using PSP7

The tutorial is meant as a guide only.

This tutorial is my design and any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.

Font of your choice.

Mask 81 by Chelle at you can get this Here

Tube of your choice. I used the beautiful art by Zindy Nielsen If you are using one of her PTU tubes you must have a license which you can purchase Here

 

 

Let's get started

Open supplies in Psp

 

Open canvas 600x600 flood fill white

Rename layer background

Paste one of the frames from the scrap kit, I used round frame 2
As new layer
Resize by 85%
Rename layer frame

Using the lasso tool draw around the middle of the frame like shown below

Paste one of the papers from the kit as new layer
Selections>invert
Press delete on keyboard
Selections>invert
Rename layer fill and move beneath the frame layer
DO NOT DE SELECT
Paste your tube as new layer
Rename layer tube
Position as desired
Layers>Duplicate
Move the duplicate layer above the frame and hide for now

Make the original layer the active layer
Selections>invert
Press delete on your keyboard

Select none

Unhide hidden layer and make it the active layer
Select your eraser tool
With the settings below


Rub out the part of the tube which sits over the frame at the bottom and the ribbon over the frame. You don’t have to be neat with this as the layer beneath the frame will show through.

Make the frame the active layer and add the following drop shadow
V & H 2
Opacity 50
Blur 5
Repeat and change V & H to -2

Now make the bottom of the 2 tube layers the active layer and apply the following drop shadow
V 0
H 20
Opacity 50
Blur 5

Make the background layer the active layer
Paste paper of choice as new layer
Masks>new>from image
In the drop down box select WSL mask81
Source luminance
Ok
Masks>delete
Click yes in the pop up box

Make the top layer the active layer
Paste one of the hearts from the add on as new layer
Rename layer heart
Move to the right hand side of the frame
Resize by 50%
View zoom by 1
Using the lasso tool draw as neat as you can around the inner part of the heart
As shown below

Paste your tube as new layer
Rename layer small tube

Selections>invert
Press delete on keyboard

Select none
View>normal

Paste one of the small bows as new layer
Rename layer bow
Resize by 50%
Add a slight drop shadow

Paste the cluster frame as new layer
Resize by 70%
Rename layer frame2

Using the magic wand click inside all parts of the cluster frame including the parts where frames overlap each other as shown below

Selections>modify>expand by 4
Paste paper of your choice as new layer
Selections>invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Select none
Rename layer fill2
Move layer below the first frame

Make frame2 the active layer
Click inside the first box on the left with the magic wand
Selections>modify>expand by 4
Paste in your tube or a tube of choice (do not mix artists)
When the part which you want to be showing is inside the marching ants
Press delete on keyboard
Select none

Repeat this for the last box on the right

Hide all other layers
Merge visible on the 2 tube layers
Rename small tubes2
Unhide hidden layers
Then move the tubes beneath the first frame we used

Now paste any other elements you want onto your tag. I used some butterflies

Add your name to sit in the middle 2 squares of frame 2

Crop/resize your tag to your liking

Add your copyright information

Save tag as a jpg and enjoy

You could also add an animation to your tag if your wish. An example of this is shown below
