This tutorial was written using Psp8 but can be
done in other versions
The tutorial is my design and any similarity to any other tutorial
is purely coincidental.
The tutorial is a guide only.
Supplies Needed.
Tube of your choice. I used the amazing art of
Ismael Rac, You need a license to use this art and you can purchase
it from
My Psp Tubes
Template #185 by Missy which you can download
from her blog
Here
Font of your choice. I used Scriptina.
Let's Get Started
Open the template in Psp
Image>Canvas size
Change the size to 600x600
Make the background layer the active layer
Flood fill white
Make the by missy the active layer and delete it.
Make the star the active layer
In your foreground and background choose 2 colours which compliment
your tube I used black for the background colour and #D95181 for the
foreground colour
On your foreground choose gradient
Foreground-background
Angle 0
Repeats 1
With invert ticked
Selection>select all>Float>De-float
Layers>new raster layer
Fill with your gradient
Effects>textures>weave
With the following settings
Selections>modify>expand by 2
Layers>new raster layer
Flood fill with black
Expand again by 2
New raster layer
And flood fill this with pink
Move the pink layer below the original star
And the black layer place under the original star but above the pink
layer
Hide all layers except the stars and merge visible on the stars
Unhide hidden layers
Repeat the above steps for the Wordart layer
This time add the following drop shadow
V&H 5
Opacity 40
Blur 1
Then repeat changing V&H to -2
On the stars layer
Select all
Float
De-float
New raster layer
Flood fill black
Select none
On the stars layer press delete on your keyboard
Then merge down the black stars onto the stars layer
Repeat this with the stars 2 layer but before you de-select
Modify>expand by 2
Flood with pink
And moved below the black star
Hide all layers except the stars2 layers and the black and pink ones
and merge visible on these 3 layers
Unhide hidden layers
Add a drop shadow to the larger of the 2 stars layers
Move the “catwalk” Wordart to be the top layer
Then make the next layer down in the layer palette the active layer
Paste your tube as new layer
Add a slight drop shadow to your tube
Crop/resize the tag as you wish
Add your name and copyright information
Save your tag and enjoy
