This tutorial was written using PSP7
The tutorial is meant as a guide only.
This tutorial is my design and any
similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed
Love Actually scrap kit by Lisa at
Sophisticated Scraps. You can download this from her blog
Here
Mask 38 by Chelle at
WeeScotslass
(look under downloads)
Tube of your choice. I used the
beautiful artwork of Zindy Nielsen. If you are using one of her PTU
tubes you must have a license which you can purchase
Here
Font of your choice. Yet again lol I
used Mr Sheffield.
Let's get started
Open supplies in Psp
Open a new canvas 600 by 600 flood
fill white
Rename background
Paste a paper of your choice as new layer
Masks>New>from image
WSL mask 38
Source luminance
Ok
Masks>delete
Click yes in pop up box
Rename layer mask
Paste frame 2 as new layer
Rename frame
Resize by 80%
Using the magic wand click inside the frame
Holding down the shift key make sure you also click inside the parts on
the ribbon as shown below
Selections>Modify>Expand by 10
Paste the tube of your choice as new layer
Resize by 90%
Layers>properties rename layer tube
Layers>duplicate
Move the duplicate layer beneath the frame
Hide the original tube layer for now
Make the copy of tube the active layer
Layers invert
Press delete on keyboard
Select none
Unhide the original tube layer and make it the active layer
Use the eraser tool to erase any of the tube over hanging the bottom of
the frame
Add a drop shadow to the frame
Make the top layer the active layer
Paste the frame 4 as new layer
Resize by 40%
Rename layer frame2
Click inside the left hand side heart on the frame with the magic wand
Selections>Modify>Expand by 5
Paste as new layer your tube
Make sure the parts you want showing are inside the marching ants
Selections Invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Select none
Repeat this step for the right hand side heart on the frame
Hide all other layers and merge visible on the 2 tube layers
Rename small tubes
Move under the frame2 layer
And unhide hidden layers
Add a drop shadow to frame2
Paste the scrolling word art as new layer
Resize by 30% and again by 70%
Effects>Sharpen>Sharpen more
Place it under the first heart on the frame2 layer
Next add any elements you wish from the scrap kit.
I just used the butterfly but be creative and decorate your tag to suit
your needs
Crop or resize your tag to your liking
Add your name and copyright information
Save your tag as a jpg and enjoy
