only.
Supplies Needed
Neopolitan scrap kit by me
Here
Font of your choice. I used Feena
Casual
Mask 84 by WeeScotsLass
Here.
Go to downloads/masks
Tubes of your choice. I used the
amazing art of Keith Garvey, You must have a license to use his work
which you can purchase
Here
Let's get started
Open a new canvas 600 x 600 flood fill
white name layer background
Paste one of the papers from the kit as new layer
Layers>New mask layer
From image
In the drop down box select WSL_Mask84
Source luminance checked
Ok
Layers>Delete
Click yes in the pop up box
Merge group
Rename layer mask
Paste the book frame as new layer
Resize by 70%
Place in the centre of the canvas
Name layer frame1
Using the selection tool draw out a rectangle around the inner of the
frame as shown below

Paste a paper of your choice as new layer
Selections invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Move the layer beneath the frame and name it frame1 fill
DO NOT DE-SELECT
Paste your tube as new layer
Resize if needed.
Name layer tube
Place to the left hand side of the inner frame
When happy with placement duplicate your tube
Move the copy of tube below the frame layer and hide the original for
now
With the copy of tube the active layer press delete on your keyboard
Select none
Unhide and make the original tube layer the active layer
Select your eraser tool with the settings

And erase any of the tube showing at the bottom of the frame
Add a drop shadow to the copy of tube layer (the bottom of the 2 tube
layers)
Paste frame 3 as new layer
Resize by 50%
Image>Rotate
Free rotate 25 to the right
Name layer frame2
Move this layer beneath your original tube layer
Using the lasso tool with settings
Point to point
And (add) shift
Zoom in on your canvas and draw around the frame like shown below

Paste paper as new layer
Selections invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Rename layer frame2 fill
Move beneath frame2 layer in the layer palette
Select none
Make frame 2 the active layer again
Zoom in once more and draw careful with lasso tool around the first
section of the frame
Zoom to normal viewing again
Paste tube as new layer
When positioned so the part you want showing is inside the marching ants
Selections invert
Press delete on the keyboard
Move layer beneath frame 2 layer
Select none
You should have something like this

Repeat this for the remaining 2 sections of the frame
Hide all other layers but the 3 tubes you just put in the frame
Merge visible
Unhide frame 2 and frame2 fill and add a drop shadow to frame 2
Merge visible again
Rename layer frame 2
Unhide all other layers
Make frame 1 the active layer
Duplicate
Move the duplicate layer beneath frame1 fill
Adjust>Blur>Gaussian blur 7
Effects>texture effects
Mosaic glass
With the default settings
Paste butterfly 1 as new layer
Resize as needed
Free rotate 25 to the left
And place at the left top corner of the book frame
Make the top layer (should be tube) active layer
Paste one of the other butterflies as new layer
Resize by 50%
Place on the right side of your tag as desired
Paste one of the clips as new layer
Resize by 50%
Free rotate 25 to the right
Move the layer down to just above frame2
And place as desired you can use my tag as a guide
If you want to add any other elements add them now
Hide the following layers in layer palette
Background
Mask
Copy of frame1
Merge visible on the rest of the layers
Unhide hidden layers
Reduce opacity on the mask layer to 70%
Add one more tube in front of your tag I used a kneeling one, a laying
down one would work well with this also
Now add your text, I used Dear diary what you use is your choice.
Add your name
Crop/resize your tag
Add your copyright information
Save your tag as a jpg and enjoy
