This tutorial was written by me using
PSP7 and Animation Shop
The tutorial is my design and any
similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental
This tutorial is meant as a guide
only.
Supplies Needed
From the Heart Scrap kit by Me. You

Tube of your choice, I used the
awesome art of Keith Garvey. You must have a license to use his art
which you can purchase from
My PSP Tubes
Mask by Vix
Here
Supplied with permission (right click and save to pc)
Font of your choice I used Mr
Sheffield
Plug In Filters
Alien Skin Xenofex 2 Constellation
which you can purchase or get a demo from

Let's get started
Open supplies in PSP
Open a new canvas 600x600 flood fill
white
Rename layer background
Paste frame 2 from scrap kit as new layer
Resize by 85%
Rename layer frame
Use the magic wand to click inside the frame while holding down the
shift key
Not forgetting the 2 small parts near the ribbon
See below
Selections>Modify>Expand by 12
Paste paper 2 as new layer
Selections>Invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Rename layer fill and move beneath the frame layer
DO NOT DE-SELECT
Paste your tube as new layer
Place as desired
Rename layer tube
Layers>duplicate
Move the duplicate tube layer above the frame and hide visibility for
now
Make the original tube layer the active layer
Press delete on you keyboard
Select none
Unhide the duplicate tube later and make it the active layer
Use the selection tool to draw round any tube overhanging the ribbon and
frame at the bottom
Press delete on keyboard
Select none
Back onto the original tube layer add the following drop shadow
V 0
H 25
Opacity 100
Blur 4
Make the top layer the active layer
Paste the key from the scrap kit as new layer
Rename layer key
Resize by 40%
Image>Rotate>free rotate right by 40
Place it over the bow on the frame
Add a slight drop shadow I used
V & H 1
Opacity 40
Blur 4
Paste the leaves as new layer
Rename layer leaves
Resize by 50%
Image>rotate>free rotate 70 to the left
Place it at the bottom left of the frame
Add the same drop shadow you used on the key
(Also add this drop shadow to the frame layer)
Back on the leaves
Paste one of the roses as new layer
Rename layer rose
Resize by 50%
Rotate as we did with the leaves
And lay it over the leaves see my tag for example
Make the background layer the active layer
Paste the heart shaped word art from the add on kit as new layer
Rename layer word art
Again make the background layer the active layer
Paste another paper as new layer
Go to masks>new>from image
Find Vix Mask 13 in the drop down list
Source luminance
Ok
Masks delete
Click yes on the pop up box
Resize mask layer by 95% and move so that it’s inside the word art
Add the same drop shadow you used on the rose etc
Rename layer mask
Make the top layer the active layer
Add your name
Resize and crop as desired and add your copyright information
If you don’t want to animate you can save your tag now as a jpg
To animate read on
Make the rose the active layer
Select all
Float
De-float
Layers>Duplicate twice
Close off visibility on the top 2 rose layers and work on the original
for now
Effects>plug in filters
Alien skin xenofex2>Constellation
With the following settings
Repeat this for the other 2 rose layers pressing the random seed button
once each time
Close of the visibility on the top 2 roses again making the bottom one
the active layer
Copy merged
Paste into animation shop as new animation
Back in PSP hide that rose layer and unhide the first copy of rose
Copy merged
Paste into animation shop after current frame
Repeat the above step for the final rose layer
In animation shop view animation to check it all copied across ok
When happy save your tag as a gif and enjoy
