This tutorial was written using PSP7
and Animation shop3
The tutorial is my design and any
similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental, This tutorial
is meant as a guide only.
Supplies Needed.
In Loving Memory scrap kit by Me which
you can download
Here
Image and tube of your choice. Do not
mix artists and if you decide to use stock photography with your tube
please check the terms of use of your artist.
I used the stunning PinUpToons
artwork. You need a license to use this work which you can purchase from
C.I.L.M
Font of your choice
Plug In Filters.
Alien Skin Xenofex2
Here
Let's get started
Open a new canvas 600x600 flood fill
white
Rename layer background
Paste plain frame 1 as new layer
Rename layer frame
With the magic want
RGB value
Tolerance 20
Feather 0
While holding down the shift key
Click inside both parts of the frame
Selections>Modify>Expand by 10
Paste your image as new layer
Make it so that the parts of your image you want to show are inside the
marching ants
Selections>Invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Select none
Rename layer image and move it below the frame layer
Colourise hue 0 saturation 0
With the image as the active layer
Select all
Float
De-float
Layers>Duplicate 5 times giving you a total of 6 image layers
Hide all of the image layers but the original which should be the bottom
of the image layers
Effects>Plug-in Filters
Alien skin Xenofex 2
Lightning
With the following settings
(Settings-old horror movie)
Repeat this for all but one of the image layers leaving the top image
layer unchanged
(You should have 5 layers with lightening on and one without)
Add the following drop shadow to the frame layer
V&H 2
Opacity 70
Blur 5
Next paste the lilies from the scrap kit as new layer
Resize by 70%
Image>Rotate>90 to the left
Add the same drop shadow you used on the frame and place at the bottom
of the frame
Paste flower 2 from the scrap kit as new layer
Resize by 70% 3 times
Place in the top left corner of the frame
Add a drop shadow
Make the top layer the active layer
Paste the tube of your choice as new layer
Resize if needed
Place to the right of your tag
Add a drop shadow
Next make your frame the active layer
Duplicate
Effects>Texture Effects
Mosaic glass
With the following settings
Move the layer to sit just above the background layer under all the
image layers.
It is important that all the image layers are above this layer
Crop and resize your tag to your liking
Add your name and copyright information
Now to move to animation shop
Close off visibility of all the image layers except the one which is
unchanged (No lightning should be visible)
Copy merged
Paste into animation shop as new animation
Back in PSP close of visibility of the layer you just copied across and
unhide the next image layer down
Copy merged
Paste into animation after current frame
Repeat this until you have copied across all 6 image layers you should
have a total of 6 frames
Select all
Animation>Frame properties
Change the display time to 20
Then scroll through your frames and with the arrow tool selected click
on the first frame which should be the one with no lightning on
Change the display time on this layer to 100
View animation to make sure it all works correctly
When happy save your tag a gif file and enjoy
