This tutorial was written using Psp8
and Animation shop
The tutorial is my design and any
similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.
This tutorial is meant as a guide
only.

Tube of your choice. I used the
amazing Pin Up Toons artwork. To use this art you must have a license
which you can purchase at
C.I.L.M
Font of your choice

Here
Let's get started
Open a new canvas 600 by 600 flood
fill white
Name layer background
Paste one of the round frames as new layer
Name layer frame
Resize by 85%
With the magic wand-Mode add (shift)
Click in both parts of the frame, above and below the ribbon
Selections>Modify
Expand by 5
Paste a paper of your choice as new layer
Selections>Invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Selections>invert
Rename layer fill
Move layer beneath the frame layer in the layer palette
Paste your tube as new layer
Name layer tube
Place as desired on your tag
When happy with placement
Layers>Duplicate
Close off the visibility of copy of tube for now
On the original tube layer
Selections>Invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Unhide the copy of tube and move this layer above your frame
Use the eraser tool to rub out any of the tube showing at the bottom of
the frame and over the bow
Add a drop shadow of your choice to the frame and original tube layers
Paste the journal as new layer
Name layer journal
Resize by 70%
Move to the bottom of the frame
Free rotate 5 to the right
Place as shown
On the journal layer lower the opacity to 50%
View zoom in by 5
And carefully using the lasso tool draw around where the journal over
laps the bow like shown below
Take your time with this part to get it right, if your not confident
doing it all in one break it down into smaller parts
View-Zoom to 100%
I added a bow at the end of the ribbon which is useful if you have any
stray bits near the end of the ribbon thou that is optional
Add your name.
Hide the background layer and merge visible on all other layers
Unhide the background layer
On the merged layer
Layers>Duplicate
Make the original merged layer the active layer
Effects>plug INS
Toadies
Ommadawn
With the default settings
Effects>edge>enhance more
Resize/Crop your tag if needed
Add your copyright information
Copy merged on you tag
Paste into animation shop as new animation
Edit>duplicate 3 times
Edit>Select all
Edit>Duplicate
This should give you a total of 10 frames
Open up the snow animation
Select all
Copy
On your tag select all
Paste into selected frame
Don’t click with your mouse until we have the placement right
The snow isn’t as big as the tag so place it on the top half of your tag
then click with your mouse to release it
Paste again but this time at the bottom half of your tag
View animation to check it all works ok
Save your tag as a gif and enjoy
