This tutorial was written using Psp8
The tutorial is my design and any similarity
to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.
This tutorial is meant as a guide only.
Supplies Needed.
Tube of your choice. I used the amazing art
of Keith Garvey, You must have a license to use his work which you
can purchase at
My Psp Tubes
2 fonts of your choice.
Let's get started
Open a new canvas 600 x 600 flood fill white
Preset shape circle
Line width 4
Foreground colour #F9CA78
Background colour #8586A6
(Feel free to change the colours to match your tube)
Draw out a large circle on your canvas
Objects>align
Layers>Convert to raster layer
With the magic wand click inside the blue part of the circle
Effects>Texture effects weave
With the following settings
For the colour use the same colour as you did for the outer of the
circle

Do not de-select
Paste your tube as new layer
Position as desired
When happy with placement
Duplicate
Close of the duplicate tube layer for now and make the original tube
the active layer
Selections>Invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Select none
Make the duplicate tube the active layer and with the eraser tool
rub out the tube overhanging the bottom of the circle
On the original tube layer add the following drop shadow
V&H 2
Opacity 40
Blur 2
Then just to tidy up the bottom edge make your circle the active
layer
Float
De-float
Selections invert
Select the original tube layer as your active layer and press delete
on your keyboard
Select none
Make the top layer the active layer
Select your text tool
Font-impact
Size-120
Stroke width-2
The foreground and background colours the same colours you used for
the circle
Type out the word play
Move it to the bottom of your circle
Object>Align
Horizontal centre
Layers>convert to raster layer
With your magic wand
Mode-Add (shift)
Click inside each letter
Effects>texture effects>weave
With the same settings as you used before
Select none
Add the following drop shadow
V&H 2
Opacity 40
Blur 3
Repeat changing V&H to -1
Again on your text tool
Change the font size to 72
You need to do this stage letter by letter arrange as you like each
side of the tube
On one side have let’s
And the other have ball
Angle letters to one side and overlap a little

When you have done each word
Hide other layers and merge visible then repeat the stage we used on
the play text to achieve the weave effect
Add the same drop shadow we used before
Make the circle the active layer
Close off the background colour and select the preset shape circle
Draw out a circle slightly larger than the one we made first time
Choose a font of your choice
Hover over the circle until you see the A with a curved line beneath
it
Click down and type out the text you want around the circle
When you have added the text
In your layer palette click on the little cross next to where it
says vector 1
Then close off visibility on the ellipse
Convert to raster layer
On the circle layer duplicate
Adjust>Blur
Gaussian Blur
20.00
Effects>Weave
With the same settings we used earlier
Move this layer below the original circle layer
Crop/resize your tag as desired
Add your name and copyright information
Save your tag and enjoy
