This tutorial was written using Psp8 and
animation shop. This tutorial is my design and any similarity to any
other tutorial is purely coincidental. The tutorial is meant as a
guide only.
Supplies Used.
Tube of your choice. I used the beautiful art
of Zindy Nielsen. You must have a license to use her PTU tube which
you can purchase

your choice. Alien skin
Eye Candy 4000 plug in.
Let's get started
Open a new canvas 600 x 600 flood fill white
Rename layer background
Paste decorated flower 1 as new layer
Resize by 15%
Add the following drop shadow
V&H 0
Opacity 50
Blur 5
Effects>Plug in filters>Mura Meisters copies
With the following settings
Rename layer flower circle
Adjust>hue and saturations>colourise
Change both H & S to 0
Click inside the flower circle with your magic wand
Selections>modify>expand by 20
Paste one of the papers of your choice as new layer
Resize by 70%
Selections invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Do not de select
Rename layer fill
And move beneath the flower circle layer
Paste your tube as new layer
When happy with the placement and the part you want showing is
inside the marching ants press delete on your keyboard
Select none
Rename layer tube
Make the background layer the active layer
Paste frame one as new layer
Resize by 90%
Name layer frame
Make the flower circle the active layer
Click inside with the magic wand
Selections modify>expand by 20
Paste sloppy bow 2 as new layer
Resize by 50%
Place the to bottom of the flower circle
When happy with placement duplicate and close off visibility of the
duplicate copy for now
With the original bow the active layer
Selections Invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Select none
Move this layer beneath the flower circle layer
Make the duplicate bow visible again and the active layer and use
the eraser tool to delete any excess bow from the sides of the
flower circle
Make your tube layer the active layer
Paste diamond rain 3 as new layer
Resize by 50%
Move it so that it to the left of your tube and the rain stops
before it touches the bottom of your frame see my tag for example
Layers duplicate
Move to the right of the first rain
Move it up so it is shorter than the first piece of diamond rain
Duplicate again and place to the left of the first piece of rain
With your lasso tool draw around the tops of the diamond rain which
is showing above your frame like shown below
Then on each of the diamond rain layers press delete
Select none
Hide all layers except the diamond rain and merge visible
Unhide hidden layers
Rename merged layer to diamonds
On the diamonds layers
Adjust>sharpness>sharpen more
Make the top layer in your layer palette the active layer
Paste bling butterfly 2 as new layer
Resize by 25%
Rotate>free rotate 30 to the right
And place above the diamond rain
Adjust>sharpness>sharpen more
Repeat sharpen more
Add the following drop shadow
V&H 3
Opacity 70
Blur 5
Duplicate the butterfly
Resize to 50%
And place on the knot on the bow at the bottom of the frame
Crop and resize your tag as required
Add your name and copyright information
Now to animate (if you don’t want to animated you can save your tag
now)
Make the diamonds layer the active layer
Select all
Float>de-float
Duplicate layer twice giving you a total of 3 diamond layers
Close of the visibility of the top 2 of the diamond layers for now
and work on the bottom one
Effects>Plug In Filters
Eye Candy 4000
HSB Noise
With the following settings
Ok
Repeat this on the other 2 diamond layers pressing the random seed
button once each time
Select none
With the top of the 3 diamond layers as the active layer
Edit>copy merged
Paste into animation shop as new animation
Back in psp
Close off visibility of the top diamond layer and unhide the middle
of the diamond layers and make this the active layer
Edit>copy merged
In animation shop
Edit- Past after current frame
Repeat this for the last diamond layer
You should now have a total of 3 frames in animation shop
View animation to make sure it all works correctly
