This tutorial was written by me using
PSP8
The tutorial is my design and any
similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental. The tutorial is
meant as a guide only.
Supplies Needed
Serina's Passion scrap kit by
Misfits Scrapz Blog
Template#20 from
Scraps Of Enchantment
Tube of your choice I used the amazing
Pin Up Toons Art. You need a license to use this art which you can
purchase at
C.I.L.M
Font of your choice
Let's get started
Open the template in PSP
Image
Canvas size
Change this to 700 x 600
Make the background layer the active layer and flood fill white
Next click on the © layer and delete it
Make the Blk circle the active layer
Select all
Float
De-float
Paste one of the papers from the scrap kit as new layer
Place as desired then
Selections>Invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Delete Blk Circle layer and rename the layer circle
Repeat this step using different papers for the following layers
Scallop
Frame
Rectangle1
Rectangle2
Deleting the original layers when u have done them and renaming your
layers to what the ones u deleted were
Add a drop shadow to the frame and white flower brush layer
Make the rectangle2 layer
Paste your tube as new layer preferably a half tube rather than a full
one
Place it so that the bottom of your tube sits at the bottom of the
rectangle
Add a drop shadow of choice to your tube
Close off visibility on the following layers
Black flower brush
Drop shadow
White flower brush
Tube
Background
And merge visible on the remaining layers
Rename merged layer template
Unhide hidden layers
Make the tube layer the active layer
Paste the roses as new layer
Resize by 60%
Place to the bottom right of the template
Layers
Duplicate
Move this one to the middle of the template
Duplicate again and move to the left
Paste the ribbon as new layer
Resize by 80%
Place over the roses at the bottom of the frame part of the template
Use the selection tool
Rectangle
To draw around the excess ribbon over hanging the sides of the frame and
press delete on your keyboard
Paste one of the bow charms as new layer
Resize by 60% twice
Place to the top left of the tag
Move layer to the top in layer palette
Paste one of the bead strings as new layer
Resize by 60%
Move the layer beneath the bow charm and then position as desired
I duplicated mine and had 2 hanging down that is optional
Make the template layer the active layer
Duplicate
Click on the original template layer
Go to effects
Texture effects
Mosaic glass
With the default settings
Resize layer by 95%
Add your name to the tag
Image
Resize
Pixel size width 550
(The height will auto adjust when you change the width)
Resize all layers checked
Add your copyright information
Save tag as a jpg and enjoy
