This tutorial was written by me using
PSP7 and Animation shop
The tutorial is meant as a guide only.
This tutorial is my design and any
similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed
I used the Gorjuss art of Suzanne
Woolcott You must have a license to use her work which you can purchase

Font of your choice. I used Mr
Sheffield (rapidly becoming my fav font lol)
Plug-In Filters required.
Alien skin Eye Candy 5 (optional for
the drips)
Alien skin xenofex 2 (for the jigsaw)

DBS flux Bright Noise
Here (optional if animating)
Let's get started
Open Supplies in PSP
Open a new canvas 600x600
Flood fill white
Rename layer background
Paste the heart frame as new layer
Rename layer frame
Using the magic wand click inside the heart
Selections modify
Expand by 5
Layers>new raster layer name it fill
Flood fill with a light colour from your tube
Move layer beneath frame layer
DO NOT DE-SELECT
Effects
Plug in filters
Alien skin xenofex2
Puzzle
With the setting
Almost done
And the following settings
Select none
Close of visibility on the frame for now
Zoom in on your canvas so you can see more clearly
Use the lasso tool to draw around one of the jigsaw pieces next to the
gap in pieces like shown below
(You only need to be neat on the edges which join another piece)
Edit copy
Paste as new Image, minimize for now
Select none on your main canvas
Unhide the hidden frame
Make the frame the active layer
Again click inside with your magic wand
Selections>modify>expand by 5
Paste your tube as new layer
Rename layer tube
Place as desired in the frame making sure the bottom is just over the
edge of the frame
When happy with placement
Layers duplicate
Close of visibility on the copy of tube
Move the original below the frame layer
Selections>invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Select none
Unhide the copy of tube layer and make it the active layer
Use your eraser tool to rub out any excess tube at the bottom of the
frame
Don’t worry about been neat the tube underneath will show though
Make the background layer the active layer
Paste the leaves as new layer
Image>rotate>free rotate 20 to the left
Place to the bottom left of the frame
Layers>duplicate
Image>Mirror
Hide all other layers and merge visible renaming layer leaves
Unhide hidden layers
Make the top layer the active layer
Paste one of the roses as new layer
Resize by 60%
Image rotate, free rotate 60 to the right
Place as desired
Layers>duplicate
Resize by 70%
Place it next to the larger rose
Hide all other layer
Merge visible
Draw around the rose buds with the lasso tool
Effects>plug in filters
Alien skin eye candy 5 nature-drip
With the small drip drop
Select none
Paste the piece of jigsaw we moved earlier as new layer
Place it on the drips from the rose
Duplicate to make 3 pieces and move them and place as desired
Hide all other layers and merge visible on the 3 pieces of jigsaw
Rename layer jigsaw
Move layer beneath rose’s layer
Unhide hidden layer
Add a drop shadow to the frame and leaves layer and also to the 3 pieces
of jigsaw
Crop tag to your liking
Add your name and copyright information
If you don’t want to animate then save now as a jpg and enjoy
If you want to animate read on
Hide all layers but the fill and jigsaw layers
Merge visible
Unhide hidden layers
Make sure that layer is sat between the leaves and tube layer
And that it is the active layer
Select all
Float
De-float
Layers>duplicate twice
This should give u a total of 3 layers
Hide the top 2 layers and work on original for now
Effects>plug in filters
DBS flux>bright noise
With the following settings
Repeat this on the other 2 layers but on the 2nd one click on the word
mix once and on the 3rd one click on the word mix twice
Select none
Hide again the top 2 layers of the 3 you just animated
Make the bottom one the active layer
Copy merged
Paste into animation shop as new animation
Back in PSP hide the layer you moved across and unhide the middle layer
Copy merged
Paste into animation shop after current frame
Repeat this for the remaining layer in PSP
When you have all 3 layers in animation shop
View animation to check it all works
Then select all
Animation>frame properties
Change the display time to 20
View animation again to make sure you are happy with it
Save as gif file
