This tutorial was written by me using
Psp8. This tutorial is my design and any similarity to any other
tutorial is purely coincidental
The tutorial is meant as a guide only.
Supplies needed.

Tube of your choice. I used the
awesome art of Michael Landefeld. You must have a license to use his
work which you can purchase from
C.I.L.M
Elements of your choice. All the
elements in both my examples came with the tube by Michael Landefeld.
Font of your choice. I used Architext
Regular.

Let's get started
Open the template in psp
Image>Canvas size
Change the canvas size to 600 x 600
New raster layer
Move this to the bottom of the layer palette
Flood fill white and rename layer background
Delete the credit layer on the template
On the frame layer
Select all
Float
Defloat
New raster layer
Flood fill with a colour from your tube
Select none
Delete the frame layer and rename the layer you just coloured, frame
Repeat this for shapes 2 3 and 4
You can use colours/papers or gradients of your choice.
On the circle layer
Select all
Float
Defloat
New raster layer
Flood fill white
Effects>FA Filters> Chequers
Move the slider to 13
Ok
Delete the circle layer and rename your chequers circle, circle
Repeat this for shape 1
On the tube make the nuts layer the active layer
With your lasso tool draw roughly around one of the nuts (it doesn’t
have to be neat as it is as tube layer it will only copy the nut)
Copy
Paste into your tag as new layer
Resize by 80%
Place one on either side of the tops of the rectangles like shown below
Hide all other layers and merge visible on the nuts
Unhide hidden layer
On the merged layer
Layers>Duplicate
Image>Flip
On the copy of merged
Layers>merge down
Make the circle the active layer
On the tube make the active layer the flames layer
Copy
Paste as new layer onto your tag
Move it so it goes around your circle
Add a drop shadow
Make the nuts the active layer
On the tube make pit crew active and copy
Paste as new layer on your tag
Select all
Float
Defloat
Expand by 2
New raster layer
Flood fill black
Select none
Move this below the pit crew layer
On the pit crew layer merge down
Add a drop shadow
Paste the tires as new layer
Move to below the pit crew layer and resize the tires by 40%
Close off visibility on the background layer
Merge visible on all other layers
Resize merged layer by 85%
Paste your tube as new layer
Position it so you are happy with the placement
Then merge down
Duplicate merged layer
On the original merged layer
Effects
Filters
Plug INS
Toadies
Ommadawn
With the default settings
Effects
Edge effects
Enhance
Add your name and copyright information
Save your tag as a jpg and enjoy
