Pour Some Sugar On Me!



This tutorial was written by me using Psp8 but can be done in other versions

The tutorial is my design and any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental

The tutorial is meant as a guide only.

 

Supplies Needed.

Sweet scrap kit freebie by Yarrow which you can download from her blog Here.

Tube of your choice, I used the amazing art of Elias Chatzoudis You must have a license to use his work which can be purchased at My Psp Tubes

Font of your choice I used Eras Light

Plug in Filter Mura's Meisters copies

 

Let's Get Started

 

Open a new canvas 600 x 600 flood fill white
Rename layer background

Open lolly 2 in psp
Using the lasso tool draw around the lolly like shown below


Copy
Paste onto your canvas

Resize by 30%
Rename layer lolly circle

Effects>Plug In Filters
Mura’s Meisters Copies
With the settings shown below


Using your magic wand
Click inside the lolly circle
Selections>Modify>expand by 10
Paste paper of your choice as new layer
Selections invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Rename the layer fill and move under the lolly circle
Select none

With the fill layer the active later
Paste one of the beaded hearts as new layer
Click inside with your magic wand
Selections>Modify>Expand by 1
Paste your tube as new layer
Resize by 130%
Place so the part you want showing is inside the marching ants
Selections invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Select none
Change the layer properties to luminance
And lower the opacity to 30%
Rename layer inner tube

Add a slight drop shadow to the lolly circle

With your preset shape tool
Line width 2
Foreground colour a bright colour you can easily see (we wont be keeping this colour so it doesn’t matter which you use)
Background colour null
Draw out a circle slightly larger than your lolly circle
Objects>align>centre in canvas
Select your text tool and hover over the line until you see the A with a curved line beneath it
Then click down
Type out the text you want to display around your tag
I used lyrics to a song but you can use what ever you like
When you have done that click ok
In the layer palette click on the little plus sign next to where it says vector 1
Then close of visibility on the ellipse layer
Convert to raster layer
And add a drop shadow of your choice
Rename layer text

Make the lolly circle the active layer
Click inside it with the magic wand
Selections>Modify>Expand by 10
Paste your tube as new layer
Position as desired
Rename layer tube
When happy with placement
Layers>Duplicate
Close off visibility on copy of tube
And move the original tube layer beneath the lolly circle
Selections>invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Select none

Unhide the copy of tube and make it your active layer
Use the eraser tool to rub out any excess tube over hanging on the right hand side of the lolly circle

On the original tube layer add the following drop shadow
V&H3
Opacity 70
Blur 5

Make the top layer the active layer
Paste one of the bows as new layer
Resize by 40%
Add the same drop shadow we just used
And place to the right of the lolly circle
Next add one of the lollies
Resize by 50%
Image flip
And place under the bow
Add the drop shadow we just used to the bow on the lolly

Paste as new layer 2 of the bees, resize and add around the honey pot

Crop/resize your tag
Add your name and copyright information
Save your tag as a jpeg and enjoy
