The One I Want!

This tutorial is written using Psp8 but can be done in other versions.

This tutorial is my design and any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.

The tutorial is meant as a guide only.

Supplies Needed

Tube of your choice. I used the awesome art of Elias Chatzoudis, to use his art you need a license which you can purchase at My Psp Tubes

Template 223 by Missy which you can download Here

Font of your choice

Mask 84 by Chelle which you can download Here

Let's get Started

Open up the template (223)
Image
Canvas size
Change the size to 650x600
Make the background layer the active layer and flood fill white

Delete the by missy layer

Make the think rectangle 1 the active layer
Click on the manual colour correction tool at the top of paint shop shown below

Change the source colour to the original colour of the rectangle and change the target colour to the colour you want it to be when you finish
Click ok

Make thin rectangle 2 the active layer
Edit>repeat colour correction

Now on the words repeat the above steps to change the colour of them
And again on the hearts

NOTE-If you want to use a gradient instead of a colour or a paper of your choice then follow the normal method of select all>float>defloat

Make the rectangle layer the active layer
Select all
Float
Defloat
New raster layer
In the foreground colour put a dark colour from your tube and in the background a lighter colour from your tube
Click on the gradient tab with the following settings
Angle 45
Repeats 5
Flood fill the new layer with your gradient

DO NOT DE-SELECT
Paste your tube as new layer
Place it so the parts you want showing is inside the marching ants
When you are happy with the placement
Selections>Invert
Press delete on your keyboard

Select none

With the rectangle layer the active layer press delete on your keyboard

Make raster 1 the active layer
Layer>merge down

On the tube layer
Select all
Float
Defloat
New raster layer
Flood fill with the gradient we used before
Select none

On the gradient tube layer
Image>mirror
Reduce the opacity to about 50% and move this below the normal tube layer

On the normal tube layer change the blend mode to screen

On the 3 rectangle layers add a drop shadow of your choice

Make the top layer the active layer
Paste your tube as new layer and move it to the right of the tag
Add a drop shadow
For my drop shadow I used
V=-6
H=-10
Opacity=50
Blur=5
But depending on your tube and how it is standing/sitting you might want to change this

Image>rotate>clockwise90
At what is now the top of the tag add your name
I used century gothic font but this is optional
Place the text so it is right on the edge of the rectangle
When happy with it
Select all
Float
Defloat
New raster layer
And again fill with the gradient we used earlier
Select none
Image flip
Move it so it is directly under the original text
Add the following drop shadow
V&H=0
Opacity=50
Blur=5

Make the background layer the active layer
Add a new raster layer
Flood fill with the gradient again or a colour of your choice
Layers>new mask layer
In the drop down list find the mask
Ok
Layers>delete
Click yes in the pop up box
Merge group
Reduce the opacity to suit. I reduced mine to 40%

Add your copyright information and save your tag
