This tutorial was written by me using
PSP7 and Animation3 but can be done in other versions
This tutorial was written by me and is my
design Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.
For this tutorial it is best to use a
face tube but feel free to adapt the tutorial to suit your needs my
tutorial is meant as a guide only.
Supplies Needed
Tube of your choice.
I used the beautiful artwork of Barbara
Jensen, You must have a license to use her work which you can purchase

Brushes by Suzanne Woolcott which you can
download Here I used Gorjuss
Grunge The psp7 brushes are the bottom set.
Supplies

Let's get started
Install your brushes in the brush folder
in PSP
Open up the mask and tube in PSP
Open a new canvas 600 x 600 flood fill
white Rename layer background
Layers>New raster layer Name this mask Flood fill with a colour of your choice from the tube you will be using Masks>From Image In the drop down list find WSL_178 mask
Source luminance Ok Masks>Delete Click yes on the pop up box that appears. Rename layer mask
Effects-Plug-In filters Photo effects Scan lines With the following settings
 Select your preset shape tool Circle Line width 15 Foreground colour a colour from your tube Background colour null
Draw out a circle smaller than your mask See my example above for sizing Convert to raster layer Next change the foreground colour to white or a different colour to
complement your tag Change the line width to 21 Draw out another circle over the one you have already Convert to raster layer Layers>Arrange>move down Hide all other layers and merge visible on the 2 circles Rename layer circle Unhide hidden layers
With the magic wand Tolerance 20 Feather 0 Click inside the inner part of your circle Selections>Modify>Expand by 1
Paint brush Choose one of the grunge brushes we downloaded earlier Use the same colour that is on your mask or another that compliments
your tube New raster layer-name it brushes And apply the brush as you desire around the circle Hide the mask and background layer Merge visible on the circle and brushes Rename layer brushes and UN hide hidden layers
On the circle layer Duplicate For now x out the copy of circle and we will work on the original Effects>Blur>Motion Blur with the following settings Angle 90 Intensity 30 pixels Ok Plug-In Filters DBS Flux Blast With the settings
 Then repeat 3 more times changing the direction each time Right
Up Down Next colourise to a colour of your choice I used I used Hue and saturation both at 0
Colours>adjust>brightness and contrast Brightness -40 Contrast 0
Then effects sharpen>sharpen more
Move layer below the mask layer Unhide the hidden circle Hide the background, circle. And mask layers Merge visible on the 2 remaining layers Rename top circle Unhide hidden layers
Click inside the top circle with your magic wand Same settings as before Selections>Modify>expand by 4 Paste your tube as new layer Selections>Invert Press delete on your keyboard Move this layer beneath top circle Rename layer tube Select none Add the following drop shadow to your circle V & H 2 Opacity 40 Blur4 Repeat changing the V & H to -2
On the tube layer With your lasso tool
Draw a line around the eyeliner part of the tube above the eye Hold down the shift key and repeat on the other eye
Now duplicate your tube layer twice giving you a total of 3 tube layers Close of 2 of these for now and work on the bottom one Plug-In filters DBS Flux Bright noise With the following settings
 Repeat on the other 2 layers but clicking on the word mix twice on the
2nd layer 3 times on the 3rd
Crop and resize your tag as required Add your name and copyright information
Now to move to animation shop
In PSP close of the top 2 tube layers so only the bottom one is showing Copy merged
Paste into Animation shop as new animation
Back in PSP Close of the tube layer you just moved across and unhide the 2nd one
Paste into Animation after current frame
Back in PSP Repeat for the last tube layer and paste into Animation shop
In animation view animation to check all works ok
That’s it! Save as gif file And enjoy your new tag
