This tutorial was written using Psp8 but can
be done in other versions
The tutorial is my design and any similarity to
any other tutorial is Purely coincidental.
The tutorial is meant as a guide only.
Supplies Needed.
Tube of your choice. I used the beautiful
art work of Jamie Kidd. You must have a license to use her work and
you can purchase this at
CILM
Scrap kit of you choice. I used Valentines

Plug In Toadies-Ommadawn

Font of your choice I used Adore.
Let's get started.
Open a new canvas 600 x600 flood fill white
Rename layer background
Paste heart frame 2 as new layer
Resize by 60%
Place to the right of your canvas
Paste heart frame 5 as new layer and resize by 45%
Place to the bottom left of your first heart frame
With the magic wand settings as below
Click outside your smaller heart frame
Selections>Invert
Selections>modify>Contract by 5
Make the larger heart your active layer
And press delete on your keyboard
Again make the smaller heart layer the active layer and merge down
Paste frame 2 as new layer
This time resize by 30%
Repeat the process we used before with the magic wand this time when
you come to contract only contract by 3
Merge down on the smaller heart
You should be left with something like this
Rename layer frame
Click in each heart section on your frame with the magic wand
Paste a paper of your choice as new layer
Resize by 70%
Selections invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Select none
Rename layer fill and move it beneath your frame layer in the layer
palette
Click inside the larger heart on the frame
Selections>modify>expand by 5
Paste your tube as new layer
Resize as needed and place inside the marching ants as desired
When happy with placement
Selections>invert
Press delete on your keyboard
DO NOT DE-SELECT
Selections>invert
Move the tube beneath the frame layer
Layers duplicate and close off visibility of the copy of your tube
for now
Make the original tube layer the active layer
Adjust>blur>Gaussian blur 7.00
Unhide your copy of tube and reduce the opacity on the top of the 2
tube layers to around 25%
Select none
Repeat the above on the smaller 2 of the hearts in the frame
Increasing the opacity of the top tube
In the middle heart make it approx 45%
And the smaller heart approx 70%
When completed hide all other layers but the tube layers and merge
visible
Unhide hidden layers
Add the following drop shadow to the frame layer
V&H 3
Opacity 40
Blur 5
Hide the background layer and merge visible
Resize the merged layer by 75%
Rename this layer main
Paste pink rose 9 as new layer
Resize by 65 to the right
Place at the bottom of the hearts
Add a drop shadow of your choice
Paste pink rose 7 as new layer
Resize by 50% twice
Place this near the head on the rose and add a slight drop shadow
Duplicate and move sit the duplicated rose to the side of the
original see my tag for example
Paste tape heart 2 as new layer
Resize by 50% twice
Place at the bottom of the roses and move beneath the 2 rose buds on
the layer palette
Take one of the word arts. I colourised the one I wanted to use that
is up to you should you wish to do so.
Paste it as new layer
Resize by 25%
And place it above the larger frame
Add a drop shadow
I used “my one and only” and added the words you were with the text
tool
Paste one of the journals as new layer
Resize by 25% and place at the bottom of your tag beneath some of
the rose buds but above the heart
Add a drop shadow
See my tag for example
Rotate
Free rotate
10 to the right
Make the main layer the active layer
Duplicate
Make the original main layer the active layer
Adjust>blur>Gaussian blur 20.00
Effects
Plug in’s
Toadies
Ommadawn
With the following settings
Effect>edge effects>Enhance more
Crop/resize your tag as desired
Add your name and copyright information and save your tag as a jpg
or png and enjoy
