I HATE YOU!

This tutorial was written using Psp8 but can be done in other versions

The tutorial is my design and any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.

The tutorial is meant as a guide only.

Supplies Needed.

Tube of your choice. I used the awesome art of Elias Chatzoudis. You need a license to use his work which you can purchase at My Psp Tubes

Template 196 by Missy which you can download Here

Mask 127 by Chelle (weescotslass) which you can download Here

Fonts of your choice. I used FFF Harmony and Century Gothic

Let's get started

Open the template in psp.
Image>Canvas size
Change the size to 600x600

Make the background layer the active layer
Flood fill white

Delete the credit layer

On rectangle one and 2 layers click on your manual colour correction tool and change the colour of the rectangle to a colour to suit your tube
(The colour correction tool is along the top. A little man with a spanner under him)

Effects>Plug in filters>Eyecandy 4000 gradient glow
Change the glow width to 3.00
And in the colour tab choose fat

Add the following drop shadow
V&H 0
Opacity 60
Blur 6

Make the rectangle 3 the active layer
Font FFF Harmony size 6
Use the same colours you used for rectangle 1 and 2
Type out I HATE YOU
Objects
Align
Centre in canvas
Convert to raster layer
Effects
Plug in filters
Mura’s Meisters copies
With the following settings


Make rectangle 3 the active layer
Select all
Float
De-float
Invert
Make raster 1 the active layer and press delete on your keyboard
Select none
Reduce the opacity on the words to suit your tag I reduced mine to 50%

Back on rectangle 3
Select all
Float
Defloat
Paste your tube as new layer
Position as desired
When happy with placement
Layers>duplicate
Move the copy of your tube to be the top layer and close off visibility for now
Back on the original tube layer
Move this layer about the I HATE YOU words
Selections invert
Press delete on your keyboard

Now on the copy of tube layer use the eraser tool to remove any excess tube at the bottom of your tag
Add the same gradient glow and drop shadow on rectangle 3 as we used before


Change the colour as we did before on the thin rectangle one and 2 to black

Close off visibility of the copy tube layer just so you can see more clearly what you are doing

Image rotate clockwise 90
Add some text to the black rectangle
Which ever text goes with your tube
Copy and place the copy on the other rectangle
Add the same gradient glow and drop shadow to the black rectangles as we used b4

When happy rotate your canvas back to normal

Add your copyright info and name to the tag

Make the background layer the active layer
New raster layer
Flood with a new colour or gradient
Layers
New mask layer
Find the mask in the drop down list
Ok
Layers delete
Click yes in the pop up box
Merge group

Save your tag and enjoy
