This tutorial was written in psp7 but can be done
in other versions
This tutorial was written by me and any similarity
to any other tutorial is purely coincidental

Here
Every Rose scrap kit by
sophisticated scraps
Look for her past freebies link at the top of her blog
The rose is from
PSP-Playground
I cant include that but if u go to the site and
look under Rainbow Coffi flowers the one I used is on the 2nd page but
you can use any rose
I used the amazing artwork of Keith Garvey
You must have a license to use his work and you
can purchase it

Let's get started
Open a new canvas 600 x 600 flood fill white
We can crop later
Rename layer background
Open up the supplies in psp
Select frame 2 from the scrap kit and copy and paste as new layer
Rename layer frame
With the preset shape tool
Circle
Line width 4
Foreground colour #440007
Background colour null
Holding down the shift key to make a perfect circle draw a circle out
the size of the frame so that when u move the circle beneath the frame
you won’t see it
Convert to raster layer
Move beneath the frame
Rename layer circle
Hide the frame in the layer palette
Make your circle the active layer
Using the magic wand click inside the circle layer
Selections>Modify
Expand by 3
Layers>new raster layer
Flood fill black
Select none
Move beneath the circle layer
Make the black layer your active layer
Selections>Select all
Float
Defloat
Select your rose from psp playground
Copy and paste as new layer
Position as desired inside the circle fill and when happy
Selections>Invert
Hit delete on keyboard
Select none
Lower layer opacity to 75%
Hide all layers except the rose and the circle fill and merge visible
Rename layer circle fill
Unhide other layers
Select the circle fill layer as active layer
Selections>select all
Float
Defloat
Copy and paste the tube of your choice resize and position as desired on
your tag
Layers>Duplicate
Drag the original tube layer to be above the frame layer then hide in
layer palette
Make the copy of tube the active layer
Selections>Invert
Hit delete on your keyboard
Select none
Unhide the copy of tube and make the active layer
With your eraser tool rub out the bottom part of the tube that is above
the tube
See my tag for example
Rename the top layer tube 1 and the bottom tube layer tube 2
Hide tube 1 in layer palette
With the selection tool again draw out a circle slightly larger than the
frame
Make the foreground a bright colour so it’s easy to see and background
null
DO NOT CONVERT TO RASTER LAYER
Select your text tool and hover over the circle till you see the A with
the curve line under it
(With some versions of psp you need to flip your circle or the text
shows on the inside)
Add your text I put a few lyrics to a song but you
can use any
Click on the plus sign next to the text layer in layer palette and hide
the circle layer as shown below
Layers>Convert to raster layer
I added a drop shadow to my text but that’s optional
Rename layer text
Move the text layer beneath the frame layer
Unhide the tube layer and make sure it is at the top of the layer
palette if not drag it up
Crop the tag to your liking.
Add name and copyright information
If you don’t want to animate you can now save your tag and enjoy!
If you want to animate read on
Hide all layers except
Text
Circle
Circle fill
Merge visible
Copy and paste into animation shop
Effects>Insert image effect
Effect underwater
Click on customise and the following settings
Then click ok
Effect length 2.3
Frames per second 3
Click ok
You should have a total of 7 frames
Click on the first frame and delete it leaving you 6 frames
Go back to psp
Edit undo merged layers
Unhide all layers
Make your background layer the active layer
Copy and paste into animation
Duplicate till you have 6 frames
Make sure propagate paste is selected
Select all copy on the underwater layers u did
Paste into selected frame onto background layer
Back to psp
Hide following layers
Background
Circle fill
Text
Merge visible on the remaining layers
Copy and paste into animation
Duplicate until you have 6 layers
Select all copy
Then paste onto your tag into selected frame
Do not click until u have it positioned correctly
To make sure it works click
Animation>View animation
Then if all ok select all
Animation>Frame properties
And change it to 25
Save tag as gif
