This tutorial was written using Psp8 but can be
done in other versions
The tutorial is my design and any similarity to any other tutorial
is purely coincidental.
The tutorial is meant as a guide only.
Supplies.
Tube of your choice. I used the awesome art of
Ismael Rac, You need a license to use his work which you can
purchase at
My Psp Tubes
Template 50 by Beth which you can download

VM Transmission Plug in FIlter
Let's get started
Open up the template in Psp
Make the credit layer the active layer and delete
Make the horizontal lines the active layer
Select all
Float
Defloat
New raster layer
Flood fill with a colour from your tube
(I used #E4476C)
Select none
On the horizontal layer press delete on your keyboard
On the raster 1 layer merge down
Add the following drop shadow
H&V 2
Opacity 30
Blur 5
Make frame 4 the active layer
In your foreground colour put black
In the background colour use the colour you used for the horizontal
lines
Now on your foreground colour change the tab to gradient
Angle 0
Repeats 1
Invert checked
Select all
Float
Defloat
New raster layer
Flood fill with the gradient
Selections modify>contract by 5
Press delete on your keyboard
Select none
Make frame 4 the active layer
Press delete on your keyboard
On raster 1
Layers>merge down
Repeat this step for the remaining frame layers
When you have done all 4 frames
Close off visibility on the BG and horizontal stripes layers and
merge visible on the frames
Unhide hidden layers
Rename merged layer frames
Using your magic wand with the following settings

Click inside all of the 4 frames
Selections>Modify>Expand by 2
New raster layer
Flood fill black
Effects>Texture effects>weave
With the following settings

Select none
Move this layer beneath the frame layer and rename layer fill
On the frame layer add the same drop shadow we used previously
Make the fill later the active layer
Float
Defloat
Paste the close up of the tube you are using as new layer
(NB- If you are using the same tube as me and it comes with the
group layer not merged- go to layers>merged group)
Place the close up as desired so the parts you want showing are
inside the marching ants.
Selections>Invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Change the opacity of the close up to 100% or what ever % you are
happy with
On the fill layer
Duplicate
On the original fill layer
Adjust>Blur>Gaussian Blur
20.00
Effects>Plug In Filters>VM Extravaganza>Transmission
Change the line width to 2
Offset 0
Contrast 120
Repeat both the blur and transmission stage again
Change the opacity of the layer to 50%
Move layer beneath the horizontal stripes layer
Image>rotate clockwise 90
Add some text along the side. I used she’s a misfit but you can have
yours as anything you like
Image>rotate Anti clockwise 90 twice
Repeat adding the text
Rotate your image again to be showing as normal
Make the top layer the active layer
Paste your tube as new layer and position as desired
Add the same drop shadow we used previously
Add your name and copyright information and save your tag
