This Tutorial was written by me using PSP7 but can be done in other versions, The tutorial is my design and any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental. The tutorial is a guide only. Feel free to use different resources than I have have to adapt the tutorial to your needs.

Supplies Needed.

Muted Plums Scrap kit By me which you can download Here

Mask by Becky which you can Get  Here Just right click on the mask and save to your pc

(Becky's site is closed at present will link when reopens)

Font of your choice

Tubes of your choice (Do not mix artists)

I used the awesome art of Suzanne Woolcott. You must have a license to use her work which you can purchase Here

 

Let's get started!

Open a new canvas 600x600 flood fill white and rename layer background

Paste Frame 3 from the scrap kit as new layer
Resize by 80%
Rename layer frame

Using the magic wand
Settings tolerance 20, feather 0
Click inside all parts of the frame while holding down the shift key
Selections>Modify>Expand by 6
Paste paper of your choice as new layer
Selections invert
Press delete on the keyboard
Select none
Move the paper beneath the frame layer
Rename layer fill
Click inside the left hand side of the frame
Selections>Modify
Expand by 6
Paste the tube of your choice as new layer
Rename layer tube
When happy with placement
Layers>duplicate
Hide the copy of tube for now and move the original tube layer beneath the frame
Selections invert
Press delete on keyboard
Select none
Unhide the copy of tube and make it your active layer
Use the eraser tool to rub out the bottom of the tube showing on the frame

Make the frame the active layer again
Click inside both sides of the frame with the magic wand.
Selections>modify
Expand by 6
Paste the tube (a different one if desired but make sure you do not mix artists)
As new layer
Make sure you position it so the parts you want showing are inside the marching ants
When happy with placement
Selections>invert
Press delete on your keyboard
Select none
Rename layer tube2
Move beneath the frame
Layer properties
Blend mode change to luminance
Then in layer palette reduce opacity to 50%

Make the background layer the active layer
Paste one of the papers as new layer
Masks>New>from image
Becky mask038
Masks>delete
Click yes on the pop up box

Make the frame the active layer
Paste one of the ivy swirls as new layer
Rename layer ivy
Image>rotate
Left 90 degrees
Resize by 70% then again by 80%
Use the deformation tool to position along the bottom of the frame
When happy with placement
Layers>duplicate
Move the original ivy layer beneath the frame layer and make the copy of ivy the active layer
Use the eraser tool to rub out the part of the ivy which shows above the bow so it looks like the ivy is below the bow but above the frame. See my tag for example

Add any other elements from the kit you wish
You can use my tag as a guide should you wish or do your own thing.

When happy with your elements

Resize/crop tag to your liking
Add your name and copyright information

Save your tag as a jpeg and enjoy
